“Unplanned” the Movie
The movie, “Unplanned” was released in theaters this past Friday and follows the true-life events of former abortion clinic director Abby Johnson and her journey of transformation.
All Abby Johnson ever wanted to do was help women. She became the youngest clinic director in the history of Planned Parenthood and was involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions. This was, until the day Abby saw something on an ultrasound that changed everything she thought she believed in. This led Abby to quit her job at Planned Parenthood, join her former enemies at 40 Days For Life, and become one of the most ardent pro-life speakers in America.
The movie, “Unplanned” is playing locally at a number of theaters, and although the central theme is focused on the reality of abortion, the movie also gives hope to those who’ve had an abortion or worked in the abortion industry. Unplanned is a powerful story and one that shows that the Gospel is powerful, transformational and for all people. Abby’s transformation will help audiences see that God’s forgiveness is real, and through Christ’s life, death and resurrection, one can find complete healing. Check your local theater for show times.

A New Parish Series
Parish Faith Formation
Relit – A New Parish Series
Since Jesus established the Church over 2,000 years ago, the Faith has spread throughout the world. Currently, there are 76 million Catholics in the U.S., but less than 24% of them attend Mass regularly. The New Evangelization can be simply defined in 5 words: the re-evangelization of the baptized. This program is an opportunity to recharge and ignite our love of God and the Church.
Led by Michael Dopp, STL, this training program is an exciting and integrated set of 18 sessions, which help form the participants theologically, spiritually, and practically so that we as a parish, and you as individuals, may more fully live out our fundamental mission of the Church.
The first session is in the evening on Thursday, January 24 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. For those who desire the day sessions, we also have Saturday, January 26, from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
By receiving this formation, you will be renewed in your personal call as a Catholic.
Complete a registration form and return to the office.
If you’ve ever questioned yourself on how you could share the Catholic faith, then please plan to attend this exciting program.
