Mass Times

Daily Mass (Monday-Saturday): 8:00 am

Saturday Vigil Mass: 5:00 pm

Sunday Masses: 7:30 am, 9:00 am, 10:30 am – all in English

12:00 pm – Latin Mass

Adoration Hours:
Blessed Sacrament  is exposed
Thursdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
First Fridays:  (9 a.m.- 9 p.m.)

RCIA Classes

Are you interested in becoming a Catholic or would you like to refresh your knowledge of the Catholic faith? 

St. Mary’s by the Sea will offer classes for adults who would like to become a practicing Catholic and receive the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. This program is also for Catholics who have not completed their Confirmation. You can come and prepare to receive this Sacrament in one year. And of course, all Catholics are also welcome to join us as a refresher course. Classes are held on Mondays, from   7:00-8:15 pm, beginning the last week of September through Easter.

Crisis Hotline at Cathedral

The New Hope Crisis Hotline provides telephone crisis intervention telephone crisis intervention and suicide prevention services in Orange County. Trained crisis workers at the Tower of Hope on the Christ Cathedral Campus provide counseling to those who are struggling to cope with day-to-day life. Services are free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 714-639-4673

Church Information

Adoration Hours:
Blessed Sacrament  is exposed
Thursdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
First Fridays:  (9 a.m.- 9 p.m.)

Baptisms:  Third Sundays of each month at 1:30 p.m.   Call the rectory to make reservations.

Marriages:  Arrangements by appointment at least six months prior to the marriage.

R.C.I.A Classes:  September through April —Monday evenings. From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  in Fr. Johnson Hall

Eucharistic Devotions:  Thursdays -3:00 p.m. First Fridays 9:00 pm
