PARISH ORGANIZATIONS:


CONTACT:

 

Adoration & Devotion:  A group of committed members who devote themselves to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament every Thursday and First Friday.

Altar Guild:  An organization devoted to the service of the altar and Church (decorating, cleaning, preparing, etc.)

Susan Hawley

 

Altar Servers:  A group of young boys who serve at Masses (daily, weekends and Holy Days of Obligation), Funerals, Weddings, Quinceañeras, Benedictions, Stations of the Cross, etc.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion: Men and women installed to help distribute the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at Masses and to bring Holy Communion to the sick.

Bob Spellmire

 

Faith Formation:  Certified and trained catechists who help teach CCD, Baptism, Confirmation and RCIA classes.

Linda Gilbert

 

Financial Council:  Consultative members (interviewed and approved by the Administrator/
Pastor)
helping the Administrator/Pastor with the Parish finances (budgets, collections, financial reports, fund raising, etc.)

Bob Spellmire

 

Lectors:  Men and women proclaiming the Word of God in the Reading(s) for daily and Sunday/
Holy Day of Obligation Masses.

Legion of Mary:  Three Praesidia (2 Senior and 
1 Junior)
with the ministry of evangelization, visitation and conversion. It consists of active and auxiliary members.

Liturgical Music:  Organists, cantors (5 pm Sat., 7:30 am Sunday Masses), and members of different choirs, including the Children’s Choir (9 am,
10:30 am, 12 noon Masses)
, on Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation Masses, at Funerals, Weddings and Quinceañeras.

Ministry to the Sick:  Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion bringing Holy Communion to the sick (headed by Deacon Erwin).

Pastoral Council:  Consultative members helping the Administrator/Pastor with the general-annual vision and plan for the Parish (members interviewed and approved by the Administrator/Pastor).

Pastoral Services Appeal (PSA) Committee:  A team responsible for the promoting and realization of the Pastoral Services Appeal of the Diocese.

Pro-life/Peace & Justice Committee/Ministry:  A group of parishioners dedicated to promoting pro-life, and Peace & Justice in the parish and deanery, in close cooperation with the Diocese and other faiths.

Social Activities Ministry:  A team/group of parishioners who promote the spirit of social relationship/interaction of charity, friendship and extended family.

Ginny Aragon

 

Stewardship Committee:  A team committed to help the Parish in promoting and living out the stewardship spirit and commitment in its threefold mission and ministry: time, talent and treasure.

St. Vincent de Paul Society:  An organization of dedicated members always ready to assist the needs of the poor and the needy in the neighborhood without any discrimination.

St. Matthew Society:  A group of dedicated and skilled parishioners responsible for counting the money from collections, with the spirit of accountability of St. Matthew, the tax-collector and disciple of Jesus.

Bob Turicchi

 

Ushers:  People who help with collections, assist others to bring up the gifts (bread, wine and water), find seats for people, help keep order and security, and distribute the Bulletins and Flyers of the Church/Parish.
