St. Mary’s by the Sea Catholic Church celebrates the Sacrament of Baptism for children of registered parishioners on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1:30 pm (after the noon Mass).

Eucharist

St. Mary’s by the Sea opens the Church for Eucharistic Adoration (prayer before the Blessed Sacrament housed within the tabernacle)

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Penance (Confession/Reconciliation) is an experience of the gift of God’s boundless mercy.  Not only does it free us from our sins but it also challenges us to have the same kind of compassion and forgiveness for those who sin against us.  We are liberated to be forgivers.

Anointing of the Sick

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. Please contact the Parish Office to initiate funeral arrangements.

Funerals:

Please contact the Parish Office to initiate funeral arrangements. Once a date has been set, the Pastor will meet with the family to guide them in planning the liturgy and suggest ways for your family and friends to be personally involved in selecting the Readings from Scripture etc.

We hope you will find that planning a Funeral Mass with your family can be very rewarding and very comforting. Members of our Bereavement Committee will be present the day of the funeral to welcome and assist you with setting up the Church, placement of flowers, etc.
